Purpose of this application

Email Message Management organises a Gmail mailbox on its owner's behalf. It connects to the account owner's Gmail, then sorts, labels, moves, and files incoming and existing messages according to rules the owner defines — so the mailbox stays organised automatically instead of by hand. It runs on the owner's own hardware and serves only the single person who set it up; it is not offered to the public.

Why it needs access to your Gmail account, and how it uses it

To organise your mail, the application needs to read and modify the messages in your mailbox on your behalf. It therefore requests access to your Gmail account through Google's sign-in, using the https://mail.google.com/ permission. It uses that access for one purpose only — reading messages in order to sort, label, move, and file them as you have configured.
